Product description
Large, characterful vintage monastery table / refectory table with an exceptional two-tone tabletop and a striking, heavy wooden frame. In its normal state, the table measures approx. 188 × 117 × 76.6 cm. Additionally, a separate 56 cm wide extension leaf is included. This allows the table to be extended to a total length of approx. 244 cm. The tabletop showed signs of wear over the years and was therefore carefully sanded down and subsequently treated with walnut oil. The separate extension leaf has not been refurbished and is still in its original surface and coloring. The table is used and accordingly shows age- and use-related signs of wear and patina. The construction also has some play, which means the table can wobble slightly. This should be explicitly mentioned for completeness. Due to its size and weight, pickup is strongly preferred.
