An iconic example of Norwegian Mid-Century Modern design: this original Siesta Lounge Chair was designed in the 1960s by Ingmar Relling for Westnofa, Norway.
The Siesta Chair is one of the most famous designs by Norwegian designer Ingmar Relling and is praised for its elegant simplicity, light construction, and exceptionally comfortable seating. The characteristic design combines a curved wooden frame with a suspended canvas construction and soft leather upholstery. This gives the armchair a refined and airy appearance, while simultaneously offering a particularly comfortable seat.
This vintage piece is upholstered in grey leather, which gives the armchair a calm and timeless look. The grey leather creates a beautiful contrast with the wooden frame and emphasizes the organic lines so characteristic of Scandinavian and Norwegian design from the 1960s.
