The textured, powdery salmon pink background features black and gold motifs in a "Retro" or "Mid-Century Modern" style.
Signed in relief on the back "Tony Jaillet Chalon S/S - Handmade." A renowned ceramicist from Chalon-sur-Saône (1950s-1960s) known for his glazed earthenware work.
