Sculptural 1970s Eyeball table lamp designed by Goffredo Reggiani for Reggiani, Italy. This distinctive Italian Space Age lamp features a spherical orange lacquered metal body paired with polished chrome-plated details and a circular orange and chrome base. The adjustable spherical shade can be tilted to direct the light, giving the piece both a highly sculptural appearance and practical functionality. The bold combination of vivid orange lacquer, reflective chrome and the characteristic eyeball silhouette embodies the optimistic, futuristic aesthetic of 1970s Italian Space Age design. Its compact proportions make it particularly suitable as a desk lamp, bedside lamp, side-table light or decorative accent. The chrome-plated elements have been carefully repolished and the electrical wiring has been renewed. Minor signs of use and age remain, consistent with the lamp’s vintage character and visible in the photographs. Designed by Goffredo Reggiani for Reggiani. Italy, circa 1970s.
