This floor lamp was designed by Frank Ligtelijn in the late 1950s and produced by the Dutch company RAAK. The lamp is made of a black cast iron base with a chromed metal adjustable rod and a chromed screw. The top consists of a chrome curved bar and ring with rubbers that hold the brown smoked glass bulb in place. Inside the globe is an aluminum reflector and lamp holder. A great piece that showcases the early design of RAAK, known for their organic modern design from the 60s and 70s. The bulb can be placed in different positions. This lamp is in very good condition, with with signs of use consistent with age especially at the base. Glass bulb in perfect condition. Works with bulbs up to 60W. Bulb included.
