Product description
ICONIC FLOOR LAMP BY FRANK LIGTELIJN FOR RAAK AMSTERDAM – 1960s DUTCH DESIGN
This iconic floor lamp, designed by Frank Ligtelijn for Raak Amsterdam in the 1960s, remains a coveted classic in the world of mid-century modern design. The hand-blown glass globe rests delicately on a chrome ring, creating the illusion that the shade is floating—an elegant and innovative touch that defines its timeless appeal.
The lamp features a slim chrome stand and is height-adjustable, combining form and function with effortless style. A perfect blend of simplicity and sophistication, it embodies the best of Dutch design philosophy.
In excellent vintage condition, the lamp shows only minor signs of age, with no chips or cracks in the glass. The craftsmanship and materials have withstood the test of time, preserving both its beauty and functionality.
Five lamps are available—each a stunning original—and several matching wall lamps in the same design are also offered. Whether used as a statement piece or part of a larger Raak lighting scheme, this floor lamp offers versatility and timeless elegance, making it a standout addition to any interior.
