SETT CE, THE SOFA MADE FROM 95% RECYCLED MATERIALS
A timeless design! Gispen SETT is a distinctive designer sofa offering exceptional seating comfort. Designer Peter van de Water sought and found a unique balance between simplicity and comfort. The sleek look and striking details make this sofa a timeless piece. In addition to the original SETT sofa, Gispen has created an optimally circular version: SETT CE. This sofa is made from no less than 95% recycled materials. We transformed plastic waste into the sofa's body using a 3D printer. The foam in the seat and backrest, the polyester lining, and the upholstery are also made from recycled materials. Moreover, all the materials that make up the sofa are separable; each component can be cleverly reused by being processed into a new product. These innovative, sustainable developments have been recognized with two awards: the Dutch Design Award and the award for Good Industrial Design.
