Gepo is a Dutch family business founded in 1965 in Amsterdam by the Posthuma brothers. The name 'Gepo' comes from a combination of 'Gebroeders Posthuma'. Gepo mainly specialized in designing floor, wall, table and arc lamps with the typical Space Age design. The brand often used parts in chrome finished with transparent drilled suspensions in plexi (typical of the Gepo brand)
Gepo N.V. ended its activities sometime in the early 1980s.
