Very nice design lamp in the style of Gaetano Sciolari,italy 1960s. Gaetano Sciolari vintage brass 18 light Pistillo candelabra ceiling lamp, 1970s ca, Italy. A rare example, this nature-inspired lamp follows the lines of the Pistillino lamp, designed in 1969 by Studio Tetrarch for Valenti Italy. The high-quality tubular frame of polished brass consists of three graduated and concentric rows of lamps with arms curved upward, each arm finished at the end with a copper cylinder that sits inside a light bulb. The three rows of lamps supported by brass disc surfaces connect to the main column, which ends at the top with a solid copper ball. Decorative and simple design but with many quality details.
Carries 18 standard small LED headlight bulbs (headlight are included.) Photographed with bulbs, but can take other types for a different look.
Rewired and fully working. Very good condition with a light patina in line with age.See photos.
