A striking antique jardinière and matching pedestal in deeply glazed earthenware, finished in a rich oxblood / sang-de-bœuf glaze. The planter features bold swirling lobes; the twisted barley-twist column rises from an ornate scrolled base — a classic of French decorative ceramics from the Belle Époque period. A sculptural statement piece equally at home in a maximalist interior or as a single focal point against a plain wall. Total height approx. 150 cm. Minor age-related wear consistent with a piece of this period.
