Product description
Sensual and academic female nude lying on her back, executed as a sanguine-style engraving on strong vellum paper.
The work is distinguished by the delicacy of the modeling, the hatching and stippling work imitating sanguine crayon, as well as the elegant line of the back and legs. The print on cream paper is presented under glass, in a light passe-partout highlighted with brown lines and a brown wooden frame with a striated decor.
The work is numbered "4/250" in pencil at the bottom left and bears a signature at the bottom right. Artist's name inscription Frédéric Lefort preserved on the back of the frame. Figurative work from the 20th century.
