This is an original Glo-Ball C2 ceiling lamp, designed in 1998 by the renowned British designer Jasper Morrison for the Italian manufacturer FLOS. The lamp is a prime example of Morrison's "Super Normal" design philosophy, where familiar forms are reduced to a maximum of functionality and unobtrusive elegance. The Glo-Ball series is known for its ability to create a calm and almost magical atmosphere. The diffuser is made of hand-blown, etched opal glass, which emits a soft, diffuse and glare-free light. This technique ensures uniform illumination of the room, reminiscent of the gentle glow of the full moon. The lamp has a diameter of 45 cm and a height of 36 cm. The ceiling bracket is made of white lacquered steel and houses an E27 socket. The overall condition of the lamp is very good and it shows the character of a carefully maintained design object. The glass is intact and the electrical components are original and functional, as can be seen in the pictures. The lamp is a testament to the durable quality and timeless design for which FLOS is known. Thanks to its minimalist yet present form, the Glo-Ball C2 seamlessly integrates into a variety of interior styles, from modern and Scandinavian to classic.
