ARP armchair (Atelier de Recherche Plastique: Guariche, Mortier et Motte), Model "642" by Steiner, 1950s. Black lacquered metal base, upholstered in a short-pile gray velvet with a slightly bluish tint and inlaid red geometric patterns. In very good overall condition, fully restored a few years ago. Dimensions: W 76 x D 76 x H 87 cm (seat height and depth: 42 & 52 cm).
