Product description
Special vintage ceramic candle holder with an expressive, brutalist design. The object is made of high-gloss glazed ceramic in intense red, combined with dark accents and an irregularly shaped relief edge. The two organically shaped ears enhance its handmade and sculptural character. A colorful glass mosaic is inlaid around the central holder on the bottom of the candle holder. The irregular pieces of glass in turquoise, ocher, brown, and dark shades form a striking contrast with the shiny red ceramic. A special combination of materials that gives the candle holder a unique and artistic character. The object is hand-signed 'Bienal' on the bottom. The exact maker and origin are unknown. In very good vintage condition. There is a small white spot on the red edge, visible in the photos. This is part of the manufacturing and glazing process and is not damage. The candle shown is not included. Dimensions: diameter approximately 14 cm, width including ears approximately 16 cm, and height approximately 6 cm.
