Offered for sale: A truly unique and monumental, original hand-knotted Persian Kashan runner measuring no less than 4.30 meters long and 87 cm wide (Gallery size). An extremely rare size that fits perfectly in a long, stately hallway, reception hall, or alongside a spacious kitchen island. This authentic city studio rug is in absolute top condition / excellent state:
Pool: Very full, thick, and high wool pile. No bald spots, wear, or signs of wear. The wool feels wonderfully soft and firm.
Unique Finish: Features the original, characteristic, and decorative hand-knotted tassel finish at the ends. This is the ultimate proof of pure and skilled craftsmanship. The fringes are completely intact and clean.
Knots: Very finely and tightly knotted (approx. 140,000 knots per m² / double-warp construction). As a result, the rug has a heavy, solid weight and remains perfectly flat and taut on the floor without wrinkling. Design: Classic Kashan design with a beautiful, elegant central medallion, surrounded by detailed floral motifs and rich borders. The main colors are warm red/rust, deep indigo blue, and cream/ivory accents.
