Mid-Century 1970s Side Table / Gueridon — Chrome, Glass, and Bronze
Spectacular original French Art Nouveau side table from the 1970s by Maison Jansen (France). Very high probability.
An iconic, high-end piece, ideal for Mid-Century, vintage, or contemporary design settings. Tripod gueridon base formed by three elegant curved steel plates with a thick, high-quality, mirror-finish chrome plating.
Solid bronze finials and leg caps. It features three bronze spheres at the top that visually elevate the tabletop. Original thick, heavy, circular glass top with polished edges.
70 cm high and 70 cm in diameter. Excellent vintage condition. The chrome retains its original shine without pitting, and the glass is in optimal condition.
Maison Jansen (France): The most solid possibility. This celebrated Parisian interior design house dominated the high-end market in the 1970s by mixing modernist chrome-plated steel structures with spectacular gilt bronze accents.
