Bring an absolute eye-catcher into your home with this iconic mid-century modern vase. This round, bulbous piece was made by the German manufacturer ES Keramik (Emons & Söhne) and is model 612-20. The vase features the 'Kaskade' decor (sometimes also called 'Planet Rain' or foam lava). It consists of an intense, vibrant cobalt blue base glaze with a thick, snow-white fat lava drip glaze that flows down from the neck like a cloud cover. The inside has a contrasting dark finish. As is characteristic of early ES Keramik vases, the underside is fully glazed in blue, subtly concealing the impressed numbers and origin beneath the glaze layer. A beautiful, organic piece of Space Age design! Ready for any interior style! Condition: In excellent condition, no damage, chips or anything.
