Magnificent and rare large serving platter from the famous Italian manufacture Ernestine Salerno, a modernist mid-century piece (Mid-Century, circa 1960/1970).
This high-end model, attributed to the aesthetic and technical research of ceramist Giacomo Onestini, stands out for its remarkable work on reliefs and light.
Decor: Coated with a deep glossy teal / duck egg blue enamel, adorned with a concentric circle pattern in the center and a border decorated with a geometric frieze of raised pastilles.
Dimensions: Large format of 28 cm in diameter (ideal as a charger plate, table centerpiece or serving platter).
Condition: Absolutely superb.
No chips, no cracks.
To note, an exceptional fact for its age: the platter still has its original metallic golden sticker "Ernestine Salerno Italy" intact on the back (see photos).
