Magnificent antique porcelain lidded pot-pourri vase from the prestigious Sächsische Porzellanfabrik zu Potschappel workshop, founded by Carl Thieme (Dresden, Germany). The piece features a stunning Sèvres-style cobalt blue background, richly highlighted with bright gold gilt patterns (scrolls, foliage, and arabesques). The front side showcases a finely hand-painted central cartouche depicting a detailed lake and woodland landscape. The original lid is delicately pierced to diffuse pot-pourri fragrances, topped with a gilded pinecone finial. The side handles are beautifully sculpted, each ending at the base with two cherub heads (mascarons) in relief on the body. Origin: Potschappel, Dresden (Saxony, Germany). Period: Late 19th / Early 20th century (Napoleon III / Belle Époque era). Factory Marks: Underneath the base features the blue interlaced double "L" (Sèvres style), cursive "Dresden" script, and the letter "T"—the official mark of founder Carl Thieme. Total Height: 23 cm (including the lid). Condition: Excellent antique condition. No cracks, no chips, and no hairlines. The gold gilding and hand-painted decor are beautifully preserved. The porcelain interior is perfectly clean and white. Please note: Very minor, age-related wear to the inner gold rim at the neck of the vase.
