Draenert, along with Ronald Schmitt, is one of the most important and highest-quality glass table manufacturers in Germany and Europe. Dr. Peter Draenert opened his workshops in Friedrichshafen in 1968. From the beginning, his goal was to realize modern design by German and German-speaking designers in the Bauhaus tradition. Draenert Studios maintains its own workshops in Immenstaad on Lake Constance.
The Draenert company is represented in numerous public collections and exhibitions, including the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Museum of Applied Arts in Tokyo, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the German Architecture Museum in Frankfurt am Main.

Condition:
The tables are in very good to excellent condition, both technically and visually. They are incomparable to other tables offered for sale. No scratches, dents, or anything similar—simply top-notch!
They come from the home of a PhD-holding academic, which was filled with meticulously maintained design classics. Therefore, the restoration work required was minimal. One of the table legs has a few small marks (like water spots on a car) on the back. It's nothing serious, but it should be mentioned. You can't see them if you simply turn the table over, and even then you have to get quite close to spot them. Therefore, we're offering a discount of €50 on this table.
Again, as is almost always the case with our products, finding a better one would be extremely difficult! The new owner can look forward to many more decades of timeless use.
Original Price / List Price:
€1908 each. The gold finish is no longer available. The gold surcharge was approximately 1/3 (33%) of the chrome finish. The chrome finish currently costs €1435 including VAT.
