The Meltingpot table plays a central role in Kooij's circular design practice. Discarded prototypes of recycled plastic, production errors and color tests form the basis of the Meltingpot. These multiform elements are assembled into spontaneous, vibrant landscapes: ready to be heated and pressed into solid sheets of raw material. The tables are loving maps of studio history, representing a fleeting interaction between our colorists and the material of the day.
