Superb original ink drawing by the Dutch artist Marita Van Der Poest Clément.
An authentic piece from the 1950s (circa 1950), a period in the artist's early career. Marita Clément is known for her minimalist and pure style, reminiscent of the sketches of Cocteau or Matisse.
Technical details:
• Subject: Stylized female nude in a mirror.
• Technique: Ink on paper.
• Frame dimensions: 30 x 40 cm (modern black frame included, ready to hang).
• Provenance: AJCT Gallery stamp on the back with inventory reference (see photos).
Condition: The work has an authentic patina with some foxing (small spots of natural oxidation of the paper) which attest to its age and do not detract from the artwork. The frame and mat are in excellent condition.
