Product description
Refined, extremely rare triple art vase (vase trois corps) on a tripod, manufactured by the French stoneware manufacturer Denbac (Vierzon). Jugendstil - Art Déco
This iconic amphora design was created by René Denert and René-Louis Balichon.
The vase is made of Denbac's characteristic 'grès flammé' (fired stoneware).
The object has a tactile matte, earthy terracotta-colored base with a subtly flowing, army green to brown drip glaze on the top. A sculptural masterpiece and an absolute must-have for collectors of European art pottery and early design.
