Designed by the renowned Swedish brothers Uno & Östen Kristiansson for Luxus in the 1960s, this rare table lamp is a compact yet powerful example of their minimalist approach. Unlike their more familiar floor lamps, this piece is modest in size but striking in presence.
The lamp features a cylindrical acrylic shade that diffuses a warm, soft light when illuminated — typical of the Kristianssons’ sensitive use of material and form. It rests on a beautifully crafted wooden base, which gives it both stability and a natural, tactile contrast to the modern shade.
