Cornice Floor Lamp – Handcrafted Minimalist Light Sculpture
Cornice is a minimalist floor lamp designed as a quiet architectural presence.
The form is intentionally reduced to its essence: a thin rectangular frame that does not dominate the space during the day, but transforms the atmosphere when the light is switched on.
The warm indirect glow is projected onto the wall, creating depth, calm shadows, and a soft ambient light.
Rather than illuminating the room directly, Cornice shapes the surrounding space through reflection and atmosphere.
The design follows a philosophy of restraint: simple geometry, precise proportions, and a form that interacts gently with the architecture around it.
Each lamp is handcrafted individually in my atelier.
No industrial production and no identical replicas. Subtle variations and small imperfections are not flaws, but traces of the human hand that created the piece — details that add authenticity and artistic character.
Even when switched off, Cornice remains a sculptural object defined by its pure geometry and matte black finish.
The lamp is new and has never been used.
