Product description
A charming and elegant chest of drawers/lowboard of Italian manufacture, dating back to the 1950s–60s—a perfect expression of the Mid-Century Modern style, evocative of the iconic designs of Gio Ponti or Ico Parisi.
The piece is distinguished by its drawer fronts and sides, crafted from exquisite walnut burl—featuring striking, dynamic grain patterns and the knots characteristic of this type of wood—accented by gilded brass knobs and side details.
The supporting structure and the signature, organically inspired, tapered, splayed legs are finished in black lacquer.
To complete the design, the top surface features an inset, flush-mounted panel of refined, aqua-green/milky-toned glass, which adds a touch of color and sophisticated elegance to the piece.
The furniture shows normal signs of wear consistent with its age and use.
