This iconic Propeller table was designed by Knut Hesterberg in the 1960s. The table has an aluminum base in the shape of a propeller and a thick round glass top. Knut Hesterberg was a famous sculptor who exhibited his sculptures throughout Europe. The German company Ronald Schmitt asked Knut Hesterberg in the late 1960s to design a series of tables with sculptural shapes in limited production with the intention of bringing art to everyday life.
The table is still in good condition, but has some minor flaws - hence the friendly price for such a design icon. The top has a small pitting on both sides. Also the propeller has some scratches on the top. For more info see photos.
