About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
PIXA was born of an up-cycling project aimed at giving a second life to materials salvaged from construction sites. These materials, often perceived as ordinary and purely functional, are a source of inspiration and fascination for me.
The PIXA chair was born of a desire to create a simple, clever seat with an original, timeless design. A simple plank becomes the central element of this surprising seat, with its radical, minimalist design. Faithful to the principles of Enzo Mari, who advocated democratic design accessible to all, PIXA offers a beautifully designed seat, ingeniously conceived to be easy to produce.
By diverting industrial building materials, this creation invites us to rediscover the hidden beauty of everyday materials, while questioning our relationship with consumption and the possibility of making furniture differently.
