This is the Oviedo chaise longue, a design by British designer Timothy Oulton. The piece of furniture is characterized by its sculptural form and the contrast between the soft leather and the sleek metal frame. The design is a modern interpretation of the classic chaise longue, inspired by the streamlined aesthetics of 1930s racing cars. The construction consists of a wavy frame of polished metal, on which individual, cylindrical cushions are mounted. The upholstery is made of black leather, which gives a timeless and refined look. The open frame creates a spacious feeling, while the ergonomic shape of the seat is designed for optimal comfort. This design is often associated with the collections of Restoration Hardware, where Oulton served as creative director. The overall condition of this chaise longue is good.
