Ceramic Wall Plaque from Ruscha, 1960s, Ceramic Mushrooms
Here is a magnificent piece that comes to us from Germany.
Ruscha produced several pieces depicting mushrooms. This is a modernist, brutalist enameled ceramic one.
The result is superb, the colors and materials match perfectly on this piece.
This plate will quickly find its place in an interior that loves design and authentic objects.
The plate is well preserved despite slight tears on the corners.
There is a discreet lack of enamel on one of the mushrooms, a defect that seems to be original, perhaps a small cooking defect.
