Product description
Bulbous, asymmetrical body with a long neck and spout. Angular, angled handle. Rough, grainy glaze in olive, ochre, and brown (lava or stoneware glaze look). Inside glazed reddish-orange. Handmade or hand-finished. This is a vintage ceramic vase by the West German manufacturer Ceramano, characterized by its distinctive shape and textured surface. The piece represents the aesthetic of the Mid-Century Modern era and stands out for its sculptural quality. The vase has a spherical body that transitions into a narrow neck with a pronounced spout, and is complemented by an elegant handle. It is made of ceramic and features a speckled, matte glaze in earthy green, yellow, and brown tones. The underside is marked with the "Ceramano" brand and the mold number "101," indicating its origin from West German ceramic production. The condition of this vase is very good; it has retained the character and original surface of its time. Notably, the original Ceramano paper label is still attached to the handle, suggesting careful preservation over the years. This piece is excellent as a standalone decorative object on a sideboard, on a shelf, or as part of a collection of mid-century ceramics. Its earthy color palette and organic form blend well with Mid-Century, rustic, or eclectic style interiors.
