Origin and historical context:
A prestigious work handcrafted on the island of Murano (Venice, Italy) during the 1960s. Its fluid and biomorphic design testifies to the creative genius of the lagoon's master glassmakers.
Manufacturing technique:
This model uses the masterful Sommerso technique. A vibrant emerald green crystal heart is captured, as if suspended, within a thick, translucent clear glass envelope. The edges are stretched and hot-folded with pliers to create unique organic volutes.
