Product description
The Cassina Maralunga armchair, designed by Vico Magistretti, is an iconic piece of Italian design. This specific example stands out due to its unique upholstery with a colorful, abstract fabric by Wolff Blitz, which gives an artistic twist to the classic silhouette.
The pattern is inspired by the abstract artworks of the renowned painter Wassily Kandinsky. The fabric is made of a soft-touch velvet (velvet touch polyester).
The armchair is crafted with a sturdy frame and upholstered with a soft, multicolored fabric that immediately draws attention. The characteristic design of the Maralunga offers the possibility to adjust the backrest for optimal comfort. The combination of beige as a base color with vibrant geometric and abstract patterns makes this a striking piece of furniture. The original Cassina label is present, confirming its authenticity.
The chair is in good condition and retains its structural integrity and comfort. The fabric shows character consistent with its age and use, contributing to the vintage charm of the furniture.
This armchair is a perfect addition to an eclectic or modern interior where a statement piece is desired. It will look beautiful in a reading nook or as a striking element in a living room.
