About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an authentic Maralunga three-seater sofa, designed by Vico Magistretti for the Italian manufacturer Cassina. This iconic design, introduced in 1973 and winner of the Compasso d'Oro award in 1979, is known for its innovative and adjustable backrest. The sofa is manufactured in Italy and upholstered with the original iconic grey-black striped velvet upholstery. A characteristic feature of the Maralunga is its patented mechanism, which allows each backrest to be individually folded up to form a comfortable headrest, or folded down for a more formal seating position. With its timeless aesthetic and modular comfort, this three-seater sofa fits seamlessly into both modern and eclectic interiors. The overall condition of the sofa is very good, the back mechanism is functional, the seating is good, and the fabric shows no signs of wear or discoloration.
