Product description
This is an original Maralunga 2-seater sofa, designed by Vico Magistretti for the renowned Italian manufacturer Cassina. This iconic piece of furniture is a milestone of Italian design and is known for its innovative, adjustable headrests that allow for versatile comfort.
The sofa is fully upholstered in high-quality leather in a light grey tone, which effortlessly blends into various color palettes. The patented construction of the backrest, based on a bicycle chain, allows each headrest to be individually adjusted from a low to a high position. This piece, made in Italy, embodies the exceptional craftsmanship and innovative thinking for which Cassina is known.
The overall condition of the sofa is good, reflecting its history and authentic use. The leather has developed a characteristic patina and natural creasing, giving the piece a lived-in charm, while the structure remains solid and fully functional.
With its compact two-seater form, this Maralunga sofa is ideal for smaller living spaces or as an addition to an existing seating group. It seamlessly integrates into modern, minimalist, or eclectic interiors, offering a timeless combination of style and functionality.
