Manufactured by the renowned Italian furniture brand Cassina in collaboration with the visionary architect Mackintosh, this chair combines traditional craftsmanship with the latest technologies. Every detail of the design testifies to Cassina's dedication to precision and quality, from manual assembly to the intricately processed slatted frame.
Originally designed by Mackintosh in 1904 for the "Willow Tea Rooms" in Glasgow, this chair reflects the architect's iconic geometric and Art Nouveau style. The high, semicircular backrest not only gives a stately appearance but also has a functional purpose: separating the entrance from the tea room behind it.
For Cassina, bringing Mackintosh's vision to life meant a perfect combination of advanced technology and first-class woodworking. The result is a throne-like armchair that is both refined and historically faithful.
Style advice: The Black Stained Ash Cassina Chair is a versatile piece of furniture that can upgrade any space. Whether you place it in a modern living room, a classic study, or a minimalist office, its timeless design and premium materials make it a real eye-catcher. Combine it with a sleek side table and a striking lamp for a modern look, or add vintage accents for a more eclectic style.
Conclusion: The Black Stained Ash Cassina Chair by Charles Rennie Mackintosh is more than a piece of furniture—it is a work of art. With its impeccable craftsmanship, timeless design, and rich history, it is a valuable addition to any home or office.
