Product description
The handmade vintage design Floor lights in the selected section was designed by artist Carreño Angel Fermín. The weight of this specific sand/resin lamp is approximately 13 kg. The relatively high weight is mainly due to the sturdy, stepped base made of solid concrete.
Model: A striking, tapered pyramid or columnar construction that narrows downwards into a stable, stepped base.
Material & Structure Lampshade / Body: Made of high-quality synthetic resin (fiberglass) mixed with a fine sand structure. This gives the lamp its characteristic, rough texture and warm, golden appearance. Base: Made of solid concrete, which provides a sturdy center of gravity and an industrial contrast.
Lighting & Effect Light source: The lamp has an internal fitting (usually suitable for a standard E27 bulb).
Light effect: As soon as the lamp is switched on, the synthetic resin with sand grains creates an atmospheric, diffuse and warm ambient light. During the day, the lamp primarily functions as an elegant and modern sculptural object in the interior, while in the evening it transforms into a true eye-catcher. Origin & Style Period: Designed and produced in the 90s (Postmodern design). Style: Organic modernism with a brutalist or Mediterranean influence.
