Product description
This is the 'Arabica' whistling kettle, an iconic design by Flavio Sambinelli for the Italian manufacturer Carlo Giannini. The piece combines high-quality stainless steel with a striking modern silhouette. The kettle is a well-known example of Italian design from the late 20th century, where functionality and aesthetic form come together. The kettle is made of 18/10 stainless steel with a mirrored, polished finish, which provides a sleek and reflective appearance. The total capacity is two liters, as indicated on the bottom. A characteristic detail is the ergonomically shaped handle and the spout cap, both executed in a vibrant red color that forms a strong visual contrast with the silver-colored metal. The design is both practical and a stylistic statement. This example is in good, used condition and is fully functional. The stainless steel body has retained its shine, although there are signs of use consistent with the object's age and purpose. The red plastic parts are still bright in color and the construction is solid. The bottom shows clear markings from the manufacturer and designer. As a functional design object, this whistling kettle adds a touch of Italian modernism to any kitchen. It is a piece that not only serves for boiling water but also functions as a decorative accent on the stove and fits into both a modern and an eclectic interior style.
