Superb art glass catchall dish, crafted from a substantial mass of blue glass. Its sculptural presence fully embodies the taste of the 1960s-1970s for thick and intensely colored glassware. The square shape with generously rounded corners gives the piece a soft yet powerful line. The dense and deeply transparent glass is enlivened by a multitude of small bubbles trapped within the material. Depending on the thickness and the light passing through it, the blue evolves from light and bright tones to a deep cobalt. The edges catch the reflections while the heart of the piece retains an almost nocturnal intensity. Seven rounded reliefs emerge from the center of a denser circular area. This motif concentrates the material, draws the eye, and transforms the dish into a true small glass sculpture. The craftsmanship evokes the artistic explorations of Italian art glass factories of the second half of the 20th century, particularly those of Murano. However, no signature or label makes it possible to identify its maker, so the piece remains in the Murano style, without definitive attribution. A few discreet micro-scratches and slight signs of use are visible depending on the light, mainly under the base. They do not affect the brilliance of the blue or the overall decorative impact of the piece. Dimensions approximately 15 × 15 cm. Height approximately 5 cm.
