A very beautiful bowl by Bertil Vallien from the 1990s. The bowl is in very good condition. It is marked and signed on the bottom.

Bertil Vallien (born January 17, 1938, in Stockholm) is a renowned Swedish glass artist and designer, best known for his long collaboration with Kosta Boda. He studied at the prestigious art school Konstfack under Stig Lindberg and graduated in 1961. Since 1963, he has been associated with Kosta Boda, where he creates both utilitarian glassware and works of art. His work is included in major museums worldwide. He has received numerous awards, including the Visionary Award from the Glass Art Society (GAS).
