Product description
This Belarti ceramic tile wall hanging features a figurative depiction of a young girl, capturing the distinctive aesthetic of the mid-century era. The piece is composed of multiple ceramic tiles set within a dark frame, showcasing a stylized portrait that reflects the artistic trends of its time.
Constructed from ceramic tiles and mounted in a metal frame, the artwork displays a palette of green, black, and white, with brown accents. The tiles are arranged vertically to form the complete image, and the piece is signed 'J. Belarti' in the lower right corner, indicating its origin. The frame includes a mounting bracket on the reverse for wall display.
The wall hanging remains in good condition, preserving the original character and charm of the artwork. The ceramic surface and painted details are intact, reflecting careful preservation over the decades.
This vintage Belarti piece serves as a striking decorative element, suitable for adding a touch of retro character to modern or eclectic interiors. Its vertical format makes it an ideal choice for narrow wall spaces or as part of a curated gallery wall.
The illustration (without its support) measures 78 cm x 16 cm.
