This is an authentic armchair by the Slovenian manufacturer Rex Kralj, a brand known for its innovative and functional furniture designs. The piece is an example of the iconic work of designer Niko Kralj, whose creations are part of the collections of MoMA in New York and the Designmuseum in Denmark. The chair is made of wood, with a frame that supports the characteristic curved and perforated plywood seat and backrest. This design, originally from the 1950s, offers ergonomic comfort. Not a folding chair! The condition of the armchair is good. The wood has an authentic finish that shows minimal traces of use over the years, contributing to the vintage look of the furniture. A piece is broken off one of the back legs, and there are some minor stains on the legs (see photos). This Rex Kralj armchair is a versatile piece of furniture that fits well into various interior styles, from Mid-Century Modern to contemporary and Scandinavian.
