An iconic Diesis chaise longue, designed by Antonio Citterio and Paolo Nava for B&B Italia. Originally introduced in 1979, the Diesis collection is considered one of the defining achievements of late twentieth-century Italian design. The collection combines advanced engineering with exceptional comfort and timeless aesthetics.
This chaise longue perfectly embodies the architectural character of the Diesis series. The design is characterized by a lightweight cast aluminum frame supporting generous leather cushions, creating a striking visual contrast between technical precision and luxurious softness. The asymmetrical composition, featuring a floating armrest and a deep lounge seat, gives the piece a sculptural appearance from every angle.
Currently finished in black leather with perforated leather details and a satin-polished aluminum frame.
A highly versatile piece of furniture that functions equally well as a striking lounge chair, reading chair, or architectural accent in both modern and classic interiors.
In very good vintage condition with light signs of wear consistent with careful use. The leather is still supple and well preserved, with a light patina and a few minor cosmetic imperfections. The aluminium frame shows light signs of use.
