Product description
The Diesis sofa, designed by Antonio Citterio and Paolo Nava for B&B Italia, is a defining piece of contemporary Italian design. Its architectural silhouette and exposed structural elements make it a highly sought-after model for collectors and design enthusiasts alike.
This specific piece features a robust metal frame, finished in chrome, which supports the plush, cream-coloured leather upholstery. The leather is detailed with subtle perforations on the armrests and bolster cushions, adding a layer of textural interest to the design. The sofa's construction highlights the interplay between the rigid metal structure and the soft, inviting seating elements.
The sofa is in good condition, retaining its structural integrity and original character. The leather has developed a natural patina over time, consistent with careful use, while the chrome frame remains bright and stable.
Ideal for a modern or minimalist interior, this Diesis sofa anchors a living space with its strong lines and sophisticated material palette. It pairs exceptionally well with glass or marble coffee tables and other mid-century or contemporary design classics.
