Product description
The “Camaleonda” by B&B Italia is probably one of the most recognizable pieces of furniture in the design world.Mario Bellini designed the unique sofa in 1969, and his innovation would not only have a decisive influence on the 1970s that quickly followed. The Camaleonda collection by Bellini and B&B has been a lasting favorite for over 50 years. Not only does the expressive design of the sofa play a decisive role, but above all, the modular structure of the seating furniture and the associated great flexibility and modularity make the Camaleonda a sofa that still looks modern today. The individual modular seating elements can be combined endlessly as desired. The Italian designer Bellini thus created a piece of furniture at the end of the 1960s that is more in demand than ever, especially in today's living world:the Camaleonda adapts to its environment, can be used in various living situations, and is therefore a companion throughout life.Incidentally, that's also where the name comes from: Camaleonda is a combination of anaconda and chameleon. The chameleon gives the sofa its adaptability, while the anaconda perhaps gives it its grand appearance. This sofa makes an impression; the low seat with its distinctive dimples and the voluminous, wavy shape of the armrests and backrests give the Camaleonda its impressive design language. It is a luxurious sofa, a statement piece that also knows how to keep a low profile in the interior. The new models from 2020 have been refreshed, and since then, the Camaleonda has had even more comfortable, springy upholstery than before, making both sitting and lying truly comfortable. The internal sandwich structure is made of sustainable and recyclable materials. The cover is fully removable. The Camaleonda sofa by B&B Italia is a timeless classic and an original design against which many things are measured. In short: the perfect sofa companion for a style-conscious life.▪︎ Design icon in the most sought-after configuration!▪︎ 14 pieces▪︎ Can be arranged modularly in a corner, straight, or square▪︎ 7 seating elements, 7 backrests or armrests▪︎ Premium velvet fabric Enia color moss Cat.
