Product description
This is the Ballo Candle holder, a classic from the Finnish design brand Iittala. Designed by Annaleena Hakatie in 1995, this piece is known for its playful, magnifying effect and solid feel.
The holder is made of thick, clear glass, which creates a beautiful play of light when a candle is lit inside. The design is simple yet clever, with a round shape that seems to encompass and magnify the flame. This Finnish design is a perfect example of Scandinavian minimalism, where form and function come together.
This Ballo is in very good condition and retains its clarity and shape. The heavy glass gives it a substantial and qualitative feel, a hallmark of Iittala's craftsmanship. The item has been carefully used and shows minimal traces consistent with its age.
The holder fits perfectly on a dresser, coffee table, or windowsill. It can be used solo for a subtle accent or in a group with other colors from the series for a lively effect.
