An F815 two-seater sofa, designed by Theo Ruth for Artifort in the 1950s. This model is a characteristic example of Dutch post-war design, known for its organic, shell-like shape and minimalist base.
The sofa features a fully upholstered shell in black Tonis, which creates a striking contrast with the seat cushion in a vibrant red hue. It rests on a slender, black metal frame that accentuates the sculptural form of the seat. Theo Ruth's design from the 1950s was innovative at the time and remains an icon in Dutch design history.
