Artifort F157 Big Oyster Armchair, designed in the 1960s by the legendary French designer Pierre Paulin. The chair is known for its organic, shell-like shape and minimalist metal legs, which create a floating effect and exceptional comfort. We have fully restored this Oyster, meaning the original frame has been polished and inspected, new insert nuts in the shell, Pantera foam in the seat and back according to original specifications, and new wool Tweed fabric 3417 Honey from Bute fabrics. Perfect and therefore new! Now available in the Pakhuys for a design enthusiast who can appreciate its value. Width: 85 to 90 cm (the widest point of the shell) Depth: 80 to 85 cm Height: 80 to 85 cm (total height of the backrest) Seat height: 35 to 38 cm (typically low for a mid-century lounge chair)
