An original Artemide Sintesi Tavolo table lamp, designed by Ernesto Gismondi in the mid-1970s.
This iconic Italian design combines industrial functionality with a striking sculptural appearance. The adjustable black metal frame, exposed light source and distinctive protective wire cage create a design that looks contemporary even fifty years after its introduction.
The lamp remains fully functional and still carries the original moulded Artemide markings:

- Patent Pending
A particularly desirable detail is the original "Patent Pending" marking on the base, indicating production from the period when the Sintesi design was first introduced.
