This is a decorative table lamp in Art Nouveau style, manufactured after a design by the French sculptor Auguste Moreau. The design features two nymphs in an elegant, flowing composition characteristic of the Art Nouveau period.
The lamp base is made of a metal alloy with a dark green and bronze-colored patina, giving the piece an antique appearance. The signature "A. Moreau" is visible on the base, along with the marking "Copy", indicating it is a reproduction. The organic lines and naturalistic depiction of the figures are true to the aesthetic of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The lamp is in good, working condition and retains its decorative character. The patina is largely intact and contributes to the object's ambiance. The lamp is supplied without a shade, offering the possibility to choose a shade that matches personal interior decor.
